(Warning: After seven hrs the ends of my hair were very dry, but if your gentle with it by the time the brown washes out iv'e found my ends to be fine again.) Back to my point, this time around half the added texture was permanent, so I would assume if it were to keep being done i will get back to where my texture started and still be allowed to keep my henna. Thanks to my shower walls iv'e found amla gives off a blue dye, that thankfully will was out of hair, giving me back my red. My train if thought was, when henna stays on longer the more intense the results, would amla be the same? Yes, your henna red will definetly be much more brown, for about a week to a week and a half, and then reverts back to the original henna red. Because when putting it on for one the added wave washed out rather quickly. (im thinking because it stripped out the build up from the shampoo bar)Ī few weeks after that, and I will deffinatley being doing this again, i mixed up some organic amla, smooshed it through my hair and left it on for seven hrs. I then did another color oops for a shorter period of time just to see how curly I could get my hair to be, which simply brought it back up to where it was after the first Color Oops. So i of course tried it and I can tell you it does produce results, i still had waves though they still seemed loosened, this however may be not from the henna but from the shampoo bar i was using I have recently discovered was significantly loosening my hair pattern. I have a post on here somewhere that questions weather or not we can keep our hair texture by braiding or twisting our hair with the henna in. Color Oopsing with extreame rinsing, i had tons of my texture back after this, and still had lots of henna orange/red color too.
The next series of events are as followed: One two hr.
My hair was, straight, flat and lifeless after that. Until of course, the alma came completely out within the next two washes. After sleeping with it on I washed it out and enjoyed my new color while retaining my wavies. Excited to use I ripped it out of its package, mixed it up with some alma, let it sit and threw it into my hair. I used henna hut about 3 times before I figured out that they just did not last, and so ordered some bonifide, genuine henna from henna sooq. I have this problem with henna myself, and went virtually insane trying to get my wavy curls back and believe I have brought them back almost to 100%.
